1) Open Windows Mail

2a) Click the Microsoft Flag button (originally the start button)
2b) Click on "All Programs" (right above the search box)
2c) Find "Windows Mail in the listing (Circled below), and click to open

Note: If you have never setup a mail account, the wizard
will automatically load to setup a new account.
Skip to step 4.

If you have previously used Windows Mail, the program will load normally
and you must choose to add a new
email account.
3a) Click "Tools" |
3b) Click "Accounts..." |
3c) Click the button "Add" at the top right |
3d) Choose "Email Account" and click "Next". Now go to step 4 |

4) Type in your "Display name".
Example: John Smith
Click "Next"

5) Type in your full email address.
Example: john123@megagate.com
Click "Next"

6a) Choose "POP3" for the Incoming email server type
6b) For incoming mail, type in mail.megagate.com
6c) For outgoing mail, type in smtp.megagate.com
Note: Make sure the check box "Outgoing server requires authentication" is NOT checked.
Click "Next"

7a) Type in your username
Example: john123, do not type "@megagate.com "
7b) Type in your password. Check the box "Remember password"
Click "Next"

8) You are now finished with the wizard.
Click "Finish"

Your email account has been setup! To check your mail, click
the "Send/Receive" button (circled below.
