Microsoft Outlook 2007 Setup

1) Open Outlook 2007




2a) Click "Tools"
2b) Click "Account Settings"



3) Click the "New..." button



4) Make sure the selection is for "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP"

Click "Next"



5) Check the bottom box "Manually configure server settings or additional server types"

Click "Next"



6) Choose the first selection "Internet E-mail"

Click "Next"


 

7a) Type in your name in the first section "Your Name"
7b) Type in your full email address.
Example: username@megagate.com, joe123@megagate.com
7c) Type in the incoming mail server mail.megagate.com
7d) Type in the outgoing mail server mail.megagate.com
7e) Type in your username, all lower case, no spaces
7f) Type in your password
7g) Optional: Click the "Test Account Settings" button
to verify you have entered everything correctly.

Click "Next"



8) You are now finished entereing your account settings.

Click "Finish"




9) To check your mail, click the "Send/Receive" button in the top menu bar

NOTE: Depending on which folder you are browsing, the "Send/Receive" button
may be in a different location as the screen changes.

You are now finished!
