1) Open Outlook Express.

2) Click "Tools" in the menu bar.
|
|
3) Click "Accounts..."
|
|
4a) Click the "Add" button
4b) Click the "Mail..." option
|
|
5) Enter your name in the "Display name:" section (circled in green).
Click "Next"
|
|
6) Enter your full email address (circled in green).
Example email: username@megagate.com, john1234@megagate.com
Click "Next"
|
|
7a) Make sure that the incoming mail server is set to "POP3" (circled in red)
7b) Enter the "Incoming Mail" server in the first box as mail.megagate.com
7c) Enter the "Outgoing Mail" server in the second box as smtp.megagate.com
Click "Next" |

8a) Enter your username in the "Account name:" section.
Your username is always lower case with no spaces. |
| 8b) Enter your password in the "Password:" section. |
| 8c) Make sure that "Remember password" is checked (circled in red) |
Click "Next" |

|
9) You are finished adding the account. Click "Finish"
|
|
10) You will now see "mail.megagate.com" setup in
the account listing (circled in red)
Click "Close" at the bottom right. |
|
11) To check your mail when you load the program,
click the "Send/Recv" button in the menu bar.
