1a) Click the "Start" Button
2a) Click "Control Panel"

2) Click "Switch to Classic View" on the left side
Note: If it says "Switch to Category View", you are
already in "Classic View". Skip to step 3.

3) Open "Network Connections"

4) Click "Create a new connection" on the left

5) This is the New Connection Wizard
Click "Next"

6) Select the first option "Connect to the Internet"
Click "Next"

7) Select "Set up my connection manually"
Click "Next"

8) Select "Connect using a dial-up modem"
Click "Next"

|
9) Type in the ISP name as "MegaGate Broadband"
Click "Next"

10) For phone number, type in your cities dialup number, or the
closest number that is considered local per your telephone plan.
Dialup Access Numbers
Click "Next"

11a) Type in your username. Example: john123
11b) Type in your password, and retype it in "Confirm password"
11c) Check both boxes on the bottom.
Click "Next"

12) This is the last step of the wizard.
Optional: Check the box that says
"Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop".
This will
place an icon on your
desktop labled "Shortcut to MegaGate Broadband"
Click "Finish"

You have completed all of the steps to setup dialup on Windows XP!
To access the internet, open "Internet Explorer". You will be prompted with the
following screen. Click "Dial" to being connecting to MegaGate.
