Important Filtering Update
Monday, August 3rd, 2009

On Monday, August 3rd, 2009, MegaGate and its email filtering provider, Postini, updated the infrastructure of the filtering services. The upgrade was a great success, however some customers are experiencing issues logging in. This is due a conflict of cookies on your local computer. If you are experiencing an error when you login, please clear your cache and cookies.

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Click the 'Tools' Menu
  3. Click 'Clear Recent History'
  4. Make sure that 'Cookies' and 'Cache' are checked
  5. Click the 'Clear Now' button
  6. Please login again

  2. Click the 'Tools' menu
  3. Click 'Internet Options'
  4. Click the 'Delete' button in the Browsing History section
  5. Make sure that 'Temporary Internet Files' and 'Cookies' are checked
  6. Click the 'Delete' button at the bottom
  7. Please login again

Attention Personal Web Space Users
As of May 8th, 2009, all personal web space URL's have changed.
The previous URL for personal space was in the format
http://www.megagate.com/~username.

The new URL is http://home.megagate.com/members/username/.

If you have an active, MegaGate Dialup account and had previous access
to your personal space, please contact us at 1.86.MEGAGATE to obtain new FTP access to your files.
